Sohini is a senior advisor to the Accelerator for Shifting Gender Norms through Education, a founding member of the Coalition for Good Schools – Voices from the South, and a Gender Champion with AVPN. She recently stepped down as CEO of Breakthrough after 14 years. With over 30 years in the development sector, she has worked across gender, women’s empowerment, and institution-building in South Asia, including roles with Ashoka and AVPN. She serves on the boards of ARROW and Read India, and is part of CatalystNow and the Spotlight Initiative.
