• In March 2002 a Spanish couple, Sascha and Raul, shared their wedding gift money with Mobile Creches. Sascha had volunteered at the Nehru Place centre in 1997 and had now come back on her "honeymoon" to this significant place in her life.

"What this centre (Vatika Construction Site, Gurgaon, Haryana) has accomplished in just 6 months is extraordinary. Asha and her team are able to give large groups of children a head start in life and a fair shot at an education. They also provide good, solid meals, a necessary foundation for learning. I am impressed."
