Corporate Volunteers

Mobile Creches has an enlightened view of Corporate Social Responsibility. We understand that the main purpose of businesses is to make profits. While at it, they should create value for their shareholders, give quality services to their customers and follow ethical/legal standards with their employees. We use Corporate Volunteering as a bridge to that world - it yields dividends at a personal level for the volunteer; builds morale and retains talent for the company; brings corporate skills and outlook for Mobile Creches!

  • In our experience, GE is a classic example. It started with the launch of the Delhi chapter of Elfun - a volunteer club of GE retirees and employees across the world. Their first project was repair and refurbishing of the Nehru Place slum centre. This was followed by a huge leadership building exercise for CEOs of NGOs from across India. The most recent example of fun-with-a-purpose group activity was their participation in the Delhi Hutch Half Marathon as the official Corporate partner (beside Oracle) of Mobile Creches.

"A very nice centre (Vatika Construction Site, Gurgaon, Haryana) with a lot of effort put in by the centre employees. The children get to learn a lot of basic things needed for a good start in life. We hope to be associated with Mobile Creches in the future."

- Tina, Prabhu, Avinash, Chakshu, Nishank, Ruchi, Saurabh, Ram, Manish (20-something volunteers from Evalueserve, a market research firm in Gurgaon)
