Contributions from the USA / UK may be channeled through the following

1. American India Foundation

American India Foundation charges a 3% processing fee for this service. Donors need to make cheques payable to American India Foundation and specify that the contribution is for Mobile Creches (on the cheque or accompanying letter). US donors receive full tax deductibility for their contributions. AIF holds off a wire transfer till a sum of $10,000 collects in the account holding funds for Mobile Creches.

2. Indian American Foundation Inc.

Formerly called the India Abroad Foundation, we have been routing small donations through them for a very long time. Their processing fee is 1% and they are fairly prompt in transferring the money.

3. GiveIndia

GiveIndia is a donation platform that allows you to support a cause of your choice from more than 100 NGOs that have been scrutinized for transparency and credibility. GiveIndia sends a feedback report on the utilization of funds to the donors. Mobile Creches got listed on GiveIndia's site in January 2008.

Special rates for high-value donations made by donors in US/UK will apply for cheques offline, for donations made via a single cheque. Please send your e-mail id, name and address with the cheque.
